The Brilliant Club

The Brilliant Club is an award-winning university access charity that works with schools across the United Kingdom. The programme aims to work with a selective group of more able pupils, providing them with an experience of university-style learning through seven tutorials and two trips to highly-selective universities.

This year, our select group of Year 5 and 6 pupils will be working with a PhD candidate from Cambridge University on the topic of Climate Change, what it is and why it matters. On Tuesday this week, we welcomed Toryn Whitehead - a Cambridge University PhD candidate who will be working with the pupils over the next term. The pupils are looking forward to their first trip to Cambridge on Friday.

"It is a really good opportunity for us to get a taste of what university is like and whether we would like to pursue our education further after secondary school." - Molly SImage (19)
