Little Lodge Garden Centre Visit

Sri Lanka and Lighthouse children had a fun and informative morning at the Little Lodge Garden Centre. We were met by Gary who shared his wealth of knowledge and helped us select suitable plants to enhance our school and attract wildlife. Many of these plants are perennials so, with the right care, we should be able to enjoy them again next year.

They then had fun starting to prepare the flower bed and filling our pots with our plants. The children were amazed how much wildlife the plants are attracting already: snails, worms and slugs. We even uncovered an egg which we think was buried by a fox.
