BackEssex County Fire and Rescue Service (ECFRS)
Year 3 and Year 6 were visited by Essex County Fire and Rescue Service (ECFRS) on Friday.
Year 3 children were given a Home Safety talk. They learnt about how to prevent fires in the home, understanding how to keep safe at home and knowing what to do in the event of a fire.
Year 6 children were given an Online Safety talk. Among the topics covered were: how to stay safe online; the dangers and concerns around the use of social media; and effective methods in how to recognise and deal with cyberbullying and 'roasting' - making cyberspace a better place!
