On Wednesday, 10 children from Year 3 and Year 4 took part in a football competition at St Clere's School. They played four other schools in a group stage including: Little Thurrock, Herringham, Arthur Bugler and Thameside. In goal, Caoimhe M made a series of stunning saves  and at the other end, Zach W and Harry G each scored a goal. James S, Franky G and Elyse B battled well in the middle, while in defence, Thomas S, Sonnie T, Violet R and Daisy M put in some excellent tackles and good distribution of the ball.

Although the children were unfortunately unable to qualify from their group on this occasion, they had a fantastic time and showed a brilliant team spirit throughout, representing the school extremely well.
